A couple of nights ago, I had a dream where I painted something. It was a weird dream, I was half-asleep/awake, and controlled most of it. At one point I crouched down, grabbed a canvas, and started painting using watercolors and my fingers. This is based on what I created.

At first I wanted to make an exact replica, but then I realized I'd never be able to (and probably drive myself nuts in the process), especially since I had started to forget the painting. But from what I remember, it had a lot of purple and blue with some white. There was a girl with white lips off-center and a guy top right. The colors had this swirling movement starting from the top left. Anyway I got a big kick out of the woman, since she was in this "style" in my dream. It made me happy to see my dream self drawing weird too. :)

I figured if I dreamed of painting, it must be an important image. But I'm weird like that.

o.o Oooooooh really cool. Personally, I agree with you on the importance thing. Dreams can mean a lot... but I guess it all boils down to what YOU see in this picture - what it means to YOU. That is how you can interpret this dream.

I think it also speaks powerfully of you, the artist. -nods- If you're dreaming about painting, especially something as beautiful as this, and can re-create it as beautiful as this, then I think that being an artist is very important to you. Hold on to that. :heart:

I do love being an artist, but I often get too wrapped up and forget how much it means to me. Maybe the dream was trying to address that. Y'know, I was breaking down that part in other ways, but I think you just found the meaning! Thanks. :) :heart:

when i saw this artwork, i felt like voiceless, as if i had ever known about it, as if i had already see that in my life or maybe in my dream, i am not specially able to comment on your style or to critize it, but it means something very deep inside myself to me, something i have maybe aslo already experienced....well, i love it!
